Course curriculum

During this 100-hour intensive we'll be studying and practicing several breathing techniques for health and wellness. In addition, we'll explore yogic philosophy, the subtle body from two perspectives, and study and practice the bandhas. ************************************************************************** All participants are encouraged to develop an at-home practice and practice teaching opportunities will be offered during the Saturday sessions and some week day sessions as well. ************************************************************************* The program has a limited live enrolment to ensure all students have an opportunity to ask questions and feel heard. We have a "no student left behind" policy and are available for questions both in class and outside of class by email. ********************************************************************** Upon successful completion of this program students will receive a certificate and be qualified to lead group and individual pranayama sessions.

FAQ

  • Do you offer payment plans and scholarships?

    We currently offer a payment plan for this course, if the payments do not fit your current financial situation you're welcome to contact us to discuss other payment plans. We do not offer scholarships for this program.

  • Do I have to attend live sessions or can I watch the recordings?

    You are not required to attend all live sessions. All sessions are recorded and you can watch them later. In some sessions there may be practices that you'll need to complete either by creating a recording and submitting it to the program leader.

  • Do you offer refunds?

    No, we do not offer refunds.

  • Do I need to be a Yoga teacher to enrol in this program?

    No, you do not need to be a Yoga teacher. We have had social workers, therapists, education teachers, doctors, and nurses with no Yoga certification participate in this program. We start with the basics and encourage questions during the program. We have a "no one is left behind" policy.

  • Will I have an opportunity to do practice teaching?

    If you are participating live you will have an opportunity to practice teach on Saturdays and during some of the weekday sessions. If you are watching the recordings instead of participating in the live sessions, you are welcome to contact our office to be assigned a study partner and/or book a teaching session with the course leader.

  • Will I receive a certificate at the end of the course?

    Upon successful completion of the course requirements you will receive a certificate from Traditional Yoga Studies.

  • Can I register after the course has started?

    Yes, we welcome enrolment at any time. All sessions are recorded so you can watch them at your own pace.
